Just signed up to a Social Networking portal for Golfers. I want to make Golf Friends or Golf Buddies and http://www.stracka.com - A Social Network for Golfers website which is 100% FREE registration solve my searching that is dedicated portal for golfers.

I'm new to golf and my passion to the game of golf is increasing and while i may not be the next Ernie Else or Tiger Woods, i would love play and learn this game as much as the other golfers do. Stracka.com is a social site for golfers. At Stracka.com you can view a free online yardage book, post your scores, maintain your handicap, look at greens guides, and talk with your fellow golfers.

Like other social networking site it is similar to the community based sites like Friendster, Eskwela, Myspace and Orkut. I like to say this site which is more dedicated for people who loves about Golf and its a site without the strippers like in myspace.

Stracka.com boast features like:

  1. Individual user profiles for personal and list of  golf courses.
  2. User blogs.
  3. User photo galleries.
  4. Networking features like friends, profile comments, private messages and more.
  5. Golf scores, handicaps and statistics.
  6. Golf discussion forums .
  7. Golf chat room.
  8. User generated golf web links and events.
  9. Latest golf news and events.
  10. Individual URLS (http://www.stracka.com/community/member.asp?id=54230)
  11. and i believe there will be many more features in development coming up.

Heres my profile - http://www.stracka.com/community/member.asp?id=54230

It’s amazing how many cool golfers and golf companies are on it. I'm still new to this site and i wonder how many contacts and friends I will made through coming months and years. How cool is it to actually connect and email back and forth with somebody that works at a company you bought something from; or the random golfer that sends you a golf tip out of the blue.
